Musicians Only, How to Email Your Announcements to These Blog Pages

STARTING JULY 31, 2007 SPAMMER (NON-MUSIC) WEB ADDRESSES AND IP ADDRESSES WILL BE LOGGED AND REPORTED TO AUTHORITIES.

INDEPENDENTMUSICBLOGS Instructions for Participating Musicians:Please keep your announcements down to one per month. For best results send stevencravis at gmail dot com an email with with the all of the following:

1.Write 'IMB' in the subject line followed by the title for this announcment. So, for example your subject line to me might look something like this:
Subject: IMB Steven Cravis releases Fields of Gold cover on iTunes
Note: I will take out the 'IMB' part from the final post at this blog site.

2. In the body of the message put at least one genre, or up to 5 appropriate genres maximum at the top of your announcement.

3. Also in the body of the message/announcement make sure to put all links in full with http:// so that they will be hyperlinkable when I paste your message to the boards. For example http://www.stevencravis.com not www.stevencravis.com
Keep in mind the promotional aspect is much more effective and functional when it actually 'links' right to your site. It is fine to give long iTunes links or any other types of links that pertain to your music.

Don't sign me up for your email lists because it won't flag me with the 'IMB' I need to see in the Subject line.

Be careful that everything is the way you want it to be as I may not have time to do re-posts/corrections later.
